RE.22355 There are alternatives out there to CLC, one of them being San Javier Kayaks in Berekley Ca., a Mom and Pop type buisness who provide two models of S&G Greenland boat. The point is with their plans they provide *full sized patterns* for the first time builder you can't imagine what a boon this is....oh wait a minute...yes you can, that's what this thread is all about. I don't know any other kit company that provides full sized patterns with their plan sets. Once traced out on to the okome I found it easiest to just lower the blade on the table saw and make my runs on the lines a bit proud of the line. A Pygmy set of plans that I once bought had offsets of measurements like 13/64 and they included a 25 dollar discount coupon in the plan set if you subsequently bought a kit from them.....bless their little pointed heads.
