Can anyone tell me if Kevlar is worth the extra expense in terms of durability? I am building a Pygmy Artic Tern. This is my second boat. My Coho is already showing signs of wear at the keel line.

I was wondering if using Kevlar on the sacrafice strip (or on the hull glass) would be a good idea.... I am guessing that it will be more puncture proof, but not sure if it will be more durable.

Any thoughts greatly appreciated,
