Side Mount Kayak Rack

A concern here in British Columbia is that a lot of the great kayaking is a ferry ride or two away. There is a 7 foot height restriction on the ferries, and then you start paying a hefty premium for the passage. Has anyone heard of, or seen a rack to hang kayaks (two) on the side of a van or truck ??
