Please help me choose

I have been planning to build a stitch and glue Kayak for a couple months now and need some guidance. I have done a bit of web research and narrowed my choice down to Pygmy's Coho and CLC's West River. After calling both companies and talking to a number of owners of each kayak, I tend to lean towards Pygmy. I want to make the rignt choice though. Everyone that has built a Pygmy seams to be really (sometimes overly) supportive of that company. I have gotten mixed reviews from CLC builders. Is this because of a small sample group, or is this the case at large. Any specific feedback you can give me would be greatly appreciated. I hope to make a decision soon.
