> experience with a small bandsaw for ripping strips?Mine is a 6-1/2' tall homemade saw that has a 2' throat. It is quite the monster. It is made mostly of plywood and I have no idea how old it is. The price was right (cheap) and it came with a wide assortment of blades. It works pretty good though.
