Adverse Building Conditions

Hey I built my 19.5' Guillemot in a 20x12 section of my basement with a support column in the middle of it. Getting it around the column and out the hatch was a 12 part topological problem involving getting the bow up into the joists and the stern right to the floor. My wife was actually convined that it would never leave the basement.
And another thing....guys from San Diego don't get to complain about the weather:-) Of course people from New England might get away with complaining about the winter but not to those in Canada, Minnesota etc.
I don't even want to think about the few guys building in appartments.
