Project/Location Survey!!!

Dear Friends-
The previous post hit on a great point - it's winter project time, and we're all taking off on various adventures in our shops. So, I propose we take a stand, declare publicly what we're building and what our goals our (12 step programs for kayak junkies?) and also where we're doing this insanity so we might build a community in the real world.
Hi. My name's Nathan, and I'm a kayak builder.

Yeah, I've been building stuff for a while now. I've only recently gotten hooked on boats - you all know how that is.
(Supportive nods.)
Anyway, I'm kinda in a quandry right now. I was planning on building Nick's Night Heron, and actually got as far as stringing forms on a strongback when my "strong" back warped, and I had to tear it all apart. Now, I've bought the Baidarka book, and, well, I think I like the look of skin!
(It's OK, man. Skin is good too!)
Well, I can't do anything for a few weeks until the team I coach finishes their season. So, from Palo Alto, California, I'll say goodnight.
