> free, handhold or by bike.Mike, Thanks for all the great drawings. I ended up finding a golf bag cart and it strapped on nicely. I'm still working on the bike hitch mount. I'm looking for a rear rack that I saw that clamps onto the seat post in a similar way to your drawing "cartpb.jpg", but is easily removed when not in use. The next step is finding a way to connect the front of the boat to the rack. I don't want to use my paddle, since it's a really light fiberglass spoon-shaped one. I've got a 4' piece of carbon fiber windsurfing mast that was washed up on the beach that's just dying to be used for something ;-)
Since I'm trying to haul my hand-built Pygmy Arctic Tern I spent almost five months building, I'm kind of leery of cobbling it together. I'm just going to solve one part at a time until I find a solution that works well. I'll post the final when it's done...
