Kent,

Gaps that small will easily be filled with epoxy. Sounds like you're about done sanding. Yes, take care of any wavy areas because they will be more noticible once you have a shiny surface. Once you're happy with the surface you can do the fill coat (if that's the route you're going). Have fun!
