I built one of Rob's NorthStars a few years ago. Never did paddle it because I gave it
away (it was a present) just a few hours after finishing it to a friend who moved to New York State.
I can say that it is the most spectacular looking boat I've ever seen - period - from 10' to 500'.
It was a blast to build. Rob's plans are outstanding and I understand he has updated them since I
bought mine.
