Great Auk

Has anybody built the Great Auk from a kit?
Is it something that a relatively inexperienced woodworker could tackle?
How does it handle (stability,tracking)?
Does it require any special tools to complete?
I have never worked with epoxy, resins, or fiberglass before. Will that
pose a problem?
I live in Michigan and will be building my kayak in an unheated garage.
Is there any type of optimum weather condition for building the boat?
(i.e. Temp, humidity, etc...)
