Travelling to Melbourne.au

Pardon the non-building question. I'll be travelling to Melbourne on business/brief-vacation in a couple weeks. My wife and I were wondering if there were any kayak rental places in the area. We do mostly lake paddling now, so inland lake/streams are more what we're interested in. Ocean is possibly okay too if there won't be sharks nibbling at our toes. But considering our skill level (intermediate) it would probably not be a good idea. Anyone out there have any 'safe' suggestions?
