I haven't yet, but I will be eventually for my Millcreek. Like you, I've devoured Craigs pages and its links on the subject. I think first out I'll just go with the basic lug. Heck, since I can always use the same mast and making sails is cheap I'll probably build a number of them to play with and try. My biggest concern is tipping the boat, which is why I'm a bit leery of the bat wing. Lot of moment arm there.
