Attaching Deck to Hull

What brand and/or type of tape should I use when I tape the deck to the hull before crawling inside to lay a 1" and/or 2" 'glass tape along the inside seam? I'm concerned about tape/adhesive residue.Has anyone tried those rolls of shrink wrap/cellophane like used in warehouses to wrap-up pallets of materials? Also any good tips on laying 'glass tape on the inside. Should I go with a brush taped to a broom handle or something? Should I soak the tape before unrolling? Thanks Everyone!! Don Mangels
